About These Terms
Internet Of Doing (IOD) is a SynHy Labs project operated by Gregory Oglethorpe. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator. These terms govern InternetOfDoing.com and IOD-operated services that identify these terms as applicable, including business tools, directories, website services, and supported AI interfaces.
By accepting these terms or using our services where these terms have been made available to you, you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, do not use the services. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into an agreement to create an account or purchase services. If you act for a business or another person, you must have authority to do so.
A written order, proposal, or service agreement may contain additional terms for a particular purchase. If there is a conflict, the specific agreement governs that purchase. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
What IOD Provides
IOD provides tools that help businesses publish information, manage operations, and receive orders, quote requests, service requests, and scheduling requests from people and AI assistants. Available features depend on the service or package selected. Examples and demonstrations illustrate capabilities and are not promises that every feature is included in every purchase.
Unless a particular offer expressly says otherwise, IOD provides the platform or introduction; the participating business supplies the advertised product or service. A listing does not by itself mean that we endorse, license, insure, or guarantee that business.
Accounts And Authorized Use
Provide accurate information and keep your account and business details current. Protect passwords, access keys, and other credentials. Grant access only to people and systems you authorize, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for instructions and content you authorize through your account, including instructions submitted by employees, representatives, or AI assistants. This does not make you responsible for conduct that applicable law does not permit us to attribute to you.
AI Assistants And Automated Requests
An AI assistant may interpret your instructions incorrectly. Review important details, including the business, products, service scope, price, address, and requested time, before authorizing an action. Do not give an assistant authority beyond what you intend it to do.
A successful technical submission confirms only the action described in the response. It does not necessarily mean a business has accepted an order, agreed to a quote, received payment, or confirmed an appointment. Rely on the applicable business confirmation and transaction status. When a response is unclear, check the status before repeating a request that could create a duplicate order or charge.
AI providers and other external services have their own terms. We do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, or continued compatibility. Our services are not designed for emergencies or as a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Orders, Service Requests, And Referrals
Before purchasing from a participating business, confirm its identity, qualifications, availability, scope of work, pricing, and cancellation terms. That business is responsible for its own products, work, representations, licenses, taxes, and customer obligations. Direct fulfillment and service-quality questions to the business; contact IOD for platform problems.
On IOD service-matching or lead-generation pages, a submitted request may be shared with companies that provide the requested service. IOD may be paid for the lead or introduction. A request does not guarantee that a company will respond, that a quote will be available, or that work will be performed. You decide whether to hire a provider, and a provider decides whether to accept the work.
Submit genuine requests and provide only information you are entitled to share. Businesses receiving leads must use the information for the relevant request and comply with applicable privacy, marketing, and communications requirements.
Prices, Payments, And Cancellation
The applicable offer, checkout, or written agreement describes the price, included work, payment schedule, and any recurring charges. Domain renewals, hosting, maintenance, third-party services, and additional work are included only as stated in that offer. A one-time website purchase does not, by itself, establish recurring charges or unlimited future work.
Review the terms before paying and ask us to clarify anything unclear. Payment providers may apply their own processing terms. Price changes do not retroactively change an accepted order; changes to ongoing services are subject to the applicable agreement and required notice.
Cancellation and refunds are governed by the terms disclosed for the purchase and applicable law. We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule through this page. To cancel an IOD service or raise a billing issue, contact us with the order or account details. If a purchase does not state a cancellation or refund policy, ask us for written clarification before proceeding. For a purchase from a participating business, contact that business about its policy.
Website Work And Customer Content
You retain your rights in content you supply, such as business information, logos, photographs, and product descriptions. You give IOD permission to host, copy, format, display, and transmit that content as reasonably needed to provide the services you request. Content designated for public publication may be accessed by visitors, search engines, and AI systems.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for submitted material and personal information. Keep public claims, prices, hours, and service descriptions accurate. Review website content and AI-assisted drafts before approving publication, particularly factual claims and professional or regulated information.
Your project agreement determines ownership and delivery of custom website work, source files, domains, and other deliverables. Existing IOD technology, reusable tools, and third-party materials retain their respective ownership and license terms. These terms do not override an ownership promise in your specific offer.
Acceptable Use
Do not use IOD to break the law; impersonate others; submit fraudulent orders or misleading listings; send spam, threats, or unlawful content; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; distribute malware; access records without permission; bypass access controls or usage limits; or disrupt the service.
Use published AI and API capabilities within their documented permissions and limits. The availability of a public endpoint does not authorize access to private records or actions on another person’s behalf. Nothing in these terms prohibits honest reviews or other lawful criticism.
Privacy And Communications
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information, including public listings and paid referrals. Businesses using IOD must provide any notices and obtain any permissions required for the information they collect or submit.
We may send communications needed to operate accounts, confirm transactions, respond to requests, or address security issues. You can ask us to stop promotional communications. These terms are not blanket consent to unrelated marketing calls or messages.
Availability And Service Changes
We work to keep the service available, but maintenance, outages, third-party failures, and other interruptions can occur. Unless expressly included in a written agreement, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular response time, search rankings, AI recommendations, leads, sales, or revenue.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or unpaid agreed charges. When practical, we will explain the issue and provide an opportunity to resolve it. Changes or discontinuation of paid services remain subject to your agreement and applicable law. Keep copies of important business records and contact us about available export or closure options.
Disclaimers And Responsibility
Except for express commitments in an applicable agreement and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
To the extent permitted by law, IOD is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities, arising from use of the services. This exclusion does not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not excuse IOD from performing its express contractual obligations or providing remedies required by law.
Questions, Disputes, And Updates
Please contact us first with a description of the problem and relevant account or order information so we can try to resolve it. Texas law governs these terms, except where mandatory laws applicable to you require otherwise. Nothing here prevents you from using a court, regulator, or consumer remedy available under applicable law; these terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.
We may update these terms and will identify the revision date above. Material changes to ongoing services will be communicated as required by law or the applicable agreement, with consent obtained where required. Revised terms do not retroactively change an accepted purchase without an applicable legal or contractual basis. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
